This is Tia Juanita’s Fish Camp’s second location. Original Tia’s was started in Beaumont, Tx. Ricky Martinez and Susan Lalonde opened their first location in April 2013. Tia’s in Lake Charles opened in August 2015. Susan Lalonde is originally from Opelousas, La. and Ricky Martinez is from Canton, Tx. Tia Juanita means Aunt Juanita. These restaurants are in her namesake. Ricky’s Aunt who was always cooking fish for her Husband, Gregory and cousin Raul, who stayed on the rivers and Lakes of West Texas fishing every spare moment they had….
